A reminder that Lanesboro Public Schools will be hosting the Southeast Conference Honors Music festival on Monday, November 4th. There will be NO SCHOOL that day, except for those that are participating in the music festival.
There is a sign-up sheet for state cross country shirts available in the office. Shirts are $15 each - act quick as the deadline is the end of the day today!
End of the 1st Quarter is Friday, November 1st. It is a student half-day with school ending at 11:32am.
More exciting news from the section cross country meet yesterday - our LFC head coach, Ellen Cullen, was named section coach of the year! Well deserved Ellen - thank you for your time and dedication to our CC athletes!

The Burros volleyball team will head to Grand Meadow on Thursday, Oct. 24th for the opening round of the section volleyball tournament.

The boys and girls Cross Country section meet takes place this Thursday, Oct. 24th at Northern Hills Golf Course in Rochester. Admission is free! The girls will run at 3:00 and the boys will follow at 3:55. Good luck to all of our runners - go L/FC!

The Burros football teams gets the 8 seed in the section tournament and will travel to top-seeded Leroy-Ostrander/L-P Tuesday, Oct. 22nd at 7 pm. Good luck boys!
The cross country teams had a successful night at the conference meet in Adams earlier this week. The girls took 2nd place and the boys took 6th. Lillyan Kiehne, Charity Kingsley, Grace Kingsley, and Riley Grant were named all-conference!
The runners will look to continue their success at the section meet next Thursday, Oct. 24th at Northern Hills in Rochester.

Lanesboro FFA participated in first set of region career development events (cdes).
Results are highlighted by Leena winning the Horse CDE and she combined with her team of Prailey, Lauren, Maddy & Kiley to place 8th of 26 teams. Leena qualifies for state individually!
The dairy team of Cole, Lane, Cooper, Sam & Emma placed 12th of 27 missing a trip to state by 1 place! Cooper cracked the top 25 placed 20th of 111!
Hailey, Nolan & Cora placed 13th of 32 in Livestock Evaluation with Hailey placing 16th and Cora 23rd of 143!
