🏈It's Touchdown time and time for the annual Homecoming celebration!
Get ready to kick off the Homecoming night spirit with a sizzling 🔥pre-game grill-out with the Fillmore County Cattlemen's Association on the grill!
Enjoy your freshly grilled burger accompanied by chips, beans, drinks and a dessert before the game or during the first half (if there's any left!). We will sell until the delicious eats and treats are gone - or halftime - whichever comes first!
Adult meals are $12 / kids are $6 and Lanesboro students eat free! Pre-sale tickets are available at the school or from any booster club member!
We will also have Burro apparel and raffle tickets for two 1/2-a-hog 🐷winners for sale that night as well!
Don't miss out on the excitement! Bring your friends, your family, your spirit and your appetite! Let's make this homecoming victory against Southland one for the books!

Hog Raffle Info
The hog raffle is back for 2024! Thanks to the generosity of Jim Sorom and Kristi & Eric Ruen, we are able to do 2, yes 2, hog raffles for 1/2 hog each!
Tickets are $10 each and are available in the school office or through any booster club member!
We will draw the winners on Tuesday, October 8th at the home volleyball game versus Mabel - Canton!
Morning Arrival Reminder: Non-bus riding students should arrive at school no earlier than 7:50am. At this time, students will be allowed to enter the building for breakfast and the start of the school day, which begins at 8:05am.

The St. Charles/Lewiston-Altura/Lanesboro Boys Soccer team played their home opener Thursday night in St. Charles and secured a 10-0 victory in a weather-shortened game. Good luck on the rest of the season!
The LFC cross country runners ran their first races in Stewartville this afternoon. Good luck on your season!

The First Day of School is September 3rd. A reminder that K-6 students have individual parent-teacher conferences on September 3rd and 4th. Students in grades 7-12 start regular classes on the 3rd.

Lanesboro Schools is in need of two van drivers for the coming school year. The daily hours are 6:45am-8:00am and 2:50pm-4:30pm. We certainly hope there are a few folks in the community that can help us with this important role. Please contact the office if you are interested. 507-467-2229

NOTICE OF SPECIAL BOARD MEETING The Lanesboro School Board will have a Special Board Meeting on June 26, 2024 at 2:00pm in the Forum. The agenda topic is Administrator Contracts.
Jack Brogle, Addison McCabe, and Ellie McCabe traveled to the Minnesota State Golf Tournament on Monday, June 10th at Pebble Creek Golf Course in Becker, MN. They all played great golf throughout the week! Jack tied for 14th place in the tournament. Addison tied for 45th and Ellie tied for 51st. They all enjoyed this exceptional experience! Nice job, Burro Golfers!
